Undergrowth with Two Figures – 1000pc Jigsaw Puzzle

By Vincent can Gogh (Dutch, 1853 – 1890) this puzzle was painted the month before his death.
Amid the poplars, entangled by the floral undergrowth, two lovers stand arm in arm, their faces disappearing into the forest floor.
This puzzle bears a haunting quality as the once pink flowers have faded to white and the violet tree trunks have turned to blue due to the fading over time which Van Gogh knew would happen with certain bright pigments he used.
