Hello everyone!

I’ve still been squeezed, but at least I’m allowed to add my two-pence worth this month. Mr Loring is hoping one of our members can help him trace a Jigsaw of a country goods yard featuring Longmore in the Dale –circa 1940s-50s produced by Gibsons - around 1997.

After reading your tips on puzzle-framing in a recent newsletter-it set me thinking and I was amazed to realise that my cork noticeboard is actually 13 years old, so justifiably a bit worn. My jig table is 10 years old and I bought my jigsafe, which is invaluable for sorting colours/shapes etc. a few years ago. It’s great to see you suggesting these aids to readers, since I would struggle without them- so couldn’t be the puzzle addict that I am today. As for framing, we now have well over twenty framed xmas puzzles and we replace our usual pictures around the house with them in early December. Always a struggle to choose which to leave in the loft that year.
