She was named by Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother and was commissioned in 1985. She was the fifth Royal Navy ship to have been called ''Ark Royal'' - the first being the flagship of the English fleet which defeated the Spanish Armada in 1588. The second puzzle in the box stunningly captures the Royal Marines from Alpha Company, 40 Commando bracing themselves against the downdraft on an incoming Chinook during Op DAAS 7B. 40 Commando are based near Taunton, Somerset and were deployed in Afghanistan from September 2012.
