Will and Kate and the Royal Baby 100pc Jigsaw

To celebrate the arrival of Britainís future King George, Gibsons have released this commemorative 1000 piece puzzle to add to your royal collection. The foundations of the love story between Prince William and Catherine Middleton were laid when they both attended the University of St. Andrews in Scotland and became good friends and flat mates. Their romantic relationship was revealed after their skiing holiday in Klosters in March 2004, and six years later William had proposed during a holiday in Kenya. The country rejoiced and celebrated, together with a worldwide audience, during the Royal Wedding in April 2011.The much anticipated news of a royal birth came as no surprise when it was announced at the end of 2012 that Will and Kate were expecting a baby.

Buckingham Palace 1000pc Jigsaw Puzzle

One of the most iconic buildings in London, Buckingham Palace has served as the official London residence of the British sovereign since 1837. It boasts 775 rooms, including no fewer than 52 Royal and guest bedrooms, 188 staff bedrooms and 19 State Rooms. Though the Palace is furnished and decorated with priceless works of art, it is neither an art gallery nor a museum, but a working building and the centrepiece of our constitutional monarchy. Although in use for many official events, receptions and Royal ceremonies, the State Rooms are open to visitors every year. In this painting, set in mid-June, the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh are seen leaving the Palace for the Trooping of the Colour, on the occasion of the official birthday of the Queen, an event which attracts thousands of visitors every year. This custom dates back to King Charles 2nd in the 17th Century, when the colours of a regiment were used as a rallying point in battle. The ceremony is carried out by the personal troops of the Queen, the Household Division, on Horse Guards Parade, where the Queen attends and takes the salute. Since 1987 the Queen has ridden in an open carriage, rather than riding side-saddle and wearing the regimental uniform, as she did on 36 occasions following her accession to the throne. After the event the Royal Family gathers on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch an RAF fly past.

Royal Babies 1000pc Jigsaw Puzzle

Who you might ask is that happy little girl, resting her smiling face on her elbows and casting those bright young eyes upwards, no doubt at the request of the photographer?! Her name is Elizabeth Alexandra Mary, our very own Queen, born on 21st April 1926.
Charlotte Elizabeth Diana was born on 2nd May 2015 and has brought us all some very welcome Springtime joy. There is one little person who will be especially delighted. Charlottes brother Prince George has spent the last 21 months mastering the basics of being a royal baby and is ready to pass on a few useful tips to his newly arrived sibling.
Also delighted will be Charlottes great grandparents. Since they married in November 1947, our Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh have been blessed with four children, eight grandchildren and so far, five great grandchildren.
Just in case there are any you cannot recognise, here is a list of who is who:
Top row, left to right: Prince George in playful mood, Princess Diana with Prince Harry, a young Prince Charles and his much amused sister Princess Anne.
Centre row, left to right: The Queen and Prince Philip with a young Prince Charles and his playful sister Princess Anne, the Duchess of Cambridge holding Princess Charlotte, Prince George and his proud parents at his Christening on 23rd October 2013.
Bottom row, left to right: Prince Charles and Princess Diana holding Prince William days after his birth, Her Majesty the Queen, Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge (just after the birth of Prince George) and Princess Diana with Prince William.
