Second Annual Charity Jigsaw Festival
When: Friday August 23 to Monday August 26 2013
Time: Friday, Saturday, Monday 10am to 5pm, Sunday 12noon to 5pm
Where: St. Martin’s Parish Church, Brighouse, West Yorkshire, HD6 1AT
Following the success of our first Charity Jigsaw Festival in 2012, when we sold 400 puzzles, we have decided to make our Festival an annual event.
In 2013 we expect to have at least 750 made-up jigsaws - children's puzzles, traditional scenes, double-sided, murder mystery, crossword, impossipuzzles, mirror image, wasgij, 3D and 4D. Approximately 200 will be displayed at any one time and as soon as a puzzle is sold another will replace it.
Admission to the Festival is £2 for Adults with accompanied children free. Entry Programme includes £1 discount voucher towards the purchase of a jigsaw at the Festival. Retain your Programme and return as many times as your wish without paying again.
Our display has to be seen to be believed!
Other activities include a display and sale of Crafts, a Golden Jigsaw Competition paying cash prizes and a Raffle/Tombola.
Supervised children’s activities.
Delicious food - morning coffee, all day breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea.
Coaches by arrangement.

THE BRITISH SINGLES JIGSAW CHAMPIONSHIP
This takes place on Sunday July 14 th at 10.30am in the Turner Hqll opposite church. Test your skills on a 1,000 piece puzzle – fastest fingers will win £50. Entry £5. The competition puzzle is yours to keep.

High Street,WD5 0AP We have some very good new stock this year with the
usual range of manufacturers and artists.
It would be good to meet any Puzzle Club members who come. If any of them show us membership details ( official number, newsletter or whatever) we’ll give them free entry as
an acknowledgement.
Otherwise, entry will be £1.00 as before,
including first tea/coffee.

Jigfest Abbots Langley 2011
Preparations for our Jigfest this year are going well. As you know, it's going to be a two-day event this time, April 9 and 10 from 10-4. It's been so successful the last two years, we felt we just had to expand it! We will have about 600 puzzles or more. About 40 manufacturers and some 20 artists are represented, including, of course Thomas Kincaid, Michael Jupp, Kevin Walsh etc. We have a number of unusual puzzles, including wooden ones, so collectors will be interested. We draw the line at 30,000 pieces plus or we'd run out of display room!
Any publicity you can give us will be appreciated. I tried to get something into the website bulletin, but it wouldn't accept my password and the webpage quoted to remind me of the password was 'unavailable'. Any help there?
It would be good to see and welcome members again. If you can let me have some Puzzle Club literature we would be happy to display it. My address is 50

Abbots Langley 20th March 2010 Jigfest
Preparations for the March 29th Jigfest are going well. It will be bigger and better this year, the newly-refurbished Community Centre allowing more room - and looking streets better! We have a good variety of puzzles, including familiar puzzle artists {Kincaid, Jupp etc. etc.) and some real collectors' items.

We invite you to our beautiful church in which there will be over 200 completed jigsaws in a constantly changing display. All jigsaws are for sale.
There will be a supervised, dedicated children’s corner with a range of age appropriate games and jigsaws.
In the adjacent hall will be a number of exciting stalls and displays for your perusal as well as refreshments being served throughout each day.
There is a large, level car park for the use of our visitors and we have modern and full facilities for the disabled.
The church and its grounds are about one minute’s walk from the town centre, beach and most of the Promenade’s hotels.
Coach parties will be made very welcome but by prior arrangement only, please.

After seeing the Isle of Wight jigsaw festival last year, we’ve decided to do similar to raise funds for the refurbishment of the Abbots Langley Community Centre.
Result -
Hertfordshire's first ever Jigfest! April 4 from 10 till 4. Over 40 people beavering away completing puzzles in sections before replacing in boxes, sectioned and layered. On April 4 they will reappear completed and on display - hundreds of them! Very wide range of puzzles for sale – some limited editions and difficult to find. Entry £1 will include first tea or coffee (Fairtrade). Be great to see every member within striking distance at this event.
